28-Jun-2015:  My eldest son Chris has just been sent to San Francisco for three weeks by his company.  His accommodation is an apatment on California Street at Stockton Street.  Here double-ended cable car 49 pauses in the middle of the intersection for passengers to alight and board. This will be his commute for the next three weeks.
