07-Sep-2018: Short shunting occurs even in San Francisco! We've been unceremoniously dumped off our L-SF Zoo tram, Ansaldo-Breda 1549, when it terminated at Taraval & 36th Avenue (Sunset Boulevard). Whilst these trams have steps for street level boarding, most stops also have an elevated section for level floor boarding for disabled passengers. Between the two trams there is also a turning triangle off to the left (you can see the catenary if not the track). The driver is about to throw the points to head back to San Francisco:
