22-Nov-1997: S313 + GM36 + S300 + S302 await departure at Seymour bound for Melbourne on the return leg of a round-trip to Albury. The train had departed Melbourne with S313 leading S302 back-to-back. At Albury, the organisers wanted their loco to lead on the return journey so S313 was turned, but S302 wasn't; the train departed with both locos cab leading ("elephant-style").
At Benalla, S300 & GM36, having travelled up light from Seymour (and were thus back-to-back) were attached to the consist by S313: hence the unusual A+A+B+A arrangement.
