30-Aug-2017: the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6, Wasp-class amphibious assault ship) visits Melbourne after participating in the Talisman-Sabre joint exercise off the coast of Queensland.  Visible on the deck are Osprey tilt rotor aircraft, one of which crashed into the sea off Shoalhaven Bay with the loss of three US Marines.
