07-Jan-2012:  The Anhinga Trail (named after the "Darter" type bird) is located at the eastern edge of the Everglades National Park and consists of a winding boardwalk through the "sea of grass" and over Taylor Slough, a freshwater sawgrass marsh.

This was a particularly cold morning in the Park and the alligators were only too happy to lie in the sun in an effort to warm up.
