This screen shot from Google Maps shows the museum precinct at Inveresk, former railway worksops for the Tasmanian Government Railways.  The old steam workshops remain as they were on the day they closed, whilst the newer concrete building workshops now houses the Queen Victoria Museum.  TheTram Museum occupies a small portion of the original tram depot and a track from the de3pot connects to a 800m track running diagonally through the precinct and past Aurora Stadium up to the former Launceston turntable.
